Face and all I
Saw was forever,
Without knowing
How long is forever.
You painted silver
Linings on the edges of
My heart,
Sunlight after sunset,
You brought sunshine
To my midnights.
Yesterday
Today
Tomorrow,
My days same,
I listen to my fears cry
Themselves to sleep.
I sew a punctured heart with
Threadless needles and tears
As time sublimes,
Wondering,
How long is forever?
